SCIENCE K TO 10 TUTORING

Elementary and High School Science

Overview

Our specialized science tutors ensure that the tutor assigned to your child is knowledgeable in the subject matter. Tutors are either BC-Certified teachers, university teaching assistants, university graduates or university undergraduates.

Our comprehensive recruitment process allows us to not only hire tutors who are effective in explaining concepts, but also analyze and resolve student's struggles. Establishing rapport for tutors with students is important for lessons to be constructive. Therefore, our tutors will work with students as a team in tackling each science problem.

How Science Tutor Network Can Help?

We pride ourselves on helping children learn and strengthen their interest in science. Our tutors will work with the student's course materials and ensure they understand each science unit. We provide guidance and preparation for:

  • Homework
  • Tests and Quizzes
  • Lab Reports
  • Exams

By breaking down word problems into steps and providing clear explanations, we help reduce students' stress and anxiety towards their science courses.

Tutoring Lessons

For students who only require help on homework problems and for test preparation, Science Tutor Network recommends one 1.5-hour lesson per week.

For students having difficulties understanding the concepts the teacher go over in class, Science Tutor Network recommends two or more 1.5-hour lessons per week.
